故事剧情
《猜猜我有多爱你》中有一只像孩子的小兔子和一只像爸爸的大兔子。小兔子像所有的孩子一样爱比较。它们俩在比赛谁的爱更多一些。大兔子用智慧赢得了比赛和小兔子稍微少一点的爱，可小兔子用它的天真和想象赢得了大兔子多出一倍的爱。两只兔子都获胜了。整个作品充溢着爱的气氛和快乐的童趣，小兔子亲切可爱的形象、两只兔子相互较劲的故事构架以及形象、新奇的细节设置都对孩子有着极大的吸引力。
《我爱我的小故事书》讲述的是阅读的乐趣。一只小兔子躺在草地上，打开他的书，不一会儿，他读到的故事便栩栩如生地出现在他的面前了。精美的木偶们向大家展示了一个童话世界，魔法的森林，温柔的狮子，跺脚的巨人，沉睡的公主，等待着大家去探索书中的神奇。

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s endearing adaptation is drawn from Sam McBratney’s touching bedtime story, Guess How Much I Love You. First published in 1995, the book is available in fifty languages with more than 26.5 million copies in print worldwide. A second story, I Love My Little Storybook, by writer / illustrator Anita Jeram, celebrates the joy of reading. Launched in 2004, the show’s innovative puppetry, stunning scenic effects and lively original music have earned international acclaim for Canada’s major family audience company and delighted more than 210,000 spectators throughout Canada, the United States, Singapore and Ireland.

导演的话 Director’s Message：

When my children were very young, we would play a game with each other - a gentle competition to see who could love each other more. “I love you more than the moon”, I would say. “I love you more than the moon and the sun and all the stars in the universe!” would be the response. “I love you more than all the sand on all the beaches in the world”. Pretty soon we were loving each other to ridiculous places. It was fun and we meant it.
Our intention in making this play is quite simple - to recreate the magic and charm of these two stories as the characters emerge from the pages of the book, hop around trees, over fences and hills and into the child’s imagination. For children and their parents, it will appear as if the stories are actually coming to life. We invite spectators of all ages to enjoy our production.
